Vijay`s `Vettaikaran` was launched here in Chennai yesterday at AVM Studios. There weren`t any big gatherings. Merely, the film unit crewmembers Vijay and his wife Sangeetha, Director of the film Babu Sivan, his mentor Dharani, Producers of AVM, Music Director Vijay Antony, Cinematographer Gopinath and many more were present. The film has Anushka in female lead and she wasn`t present there for the occasion.
Among those who participated in the simple ?pooja? were Vijay and his wife Sangeetha, his dad S.A. Chandrasekar, Producers AVM Balasubramanian and his son .B. Gurunath Meiyappan, the director of the film Babu Sivan, music director Vijay Antony cameraman Gopinath and guest Dharani.
